LCD television manufacturing facility in Kameyama, Japan features the world’s
largest roof-mounted solar system. And our appliances and business products are
among the industry’s most energy efficient. What’s more, we’ve long been a world
leader in solar cell production. Plus, all Sharp factories are working to eliminate
waste and greenhouse gases, and achieve other environmental targets in twenty-one
key areas. In fact, it's our goal that by 2010, the emissions avoided through
the use of Sharp's energy-creating and energy-saving products worldwide will equal
