Dear Dealer Community,
Many of you recently received an IBPI announcement stating that Dealer Site Builder is no longer an IBPI Vendor Partner. I understand this may have prompted some questions, so I wanted to reach out personally to offer clarity and reassurance.
Dealer Site Builder had been an IBPI Preferred Partner for the past five years. When our contract concluded on November 30, 2025, IBPI offered us the opportunity to renew for another five-year term. After careful evaluation, we elected not to renew. This decision reflects several strategic considerations related to how we prioritize partnerships, support our dealers, and allocate resources.
Additionally, remaining in the program would have required pricing adjustments for IBPI dealers—changes we felt were not in their best interest.
Another key factor is that many IBPI dealers are also members of BTA. Dealer Site Builder has been a long-standing BTA Vendor Member, and we continue to invest in and strengthen that partnership. For example, we are already committed as a sponsor for BTA’s 100th Anniversary Celebration in Kansas City, MO, in September 2026. Ultimately, maintaining parallel vendor commitments with both organizations no longer aligned with our strategic priorities.
To be very clear:
• There were no issues, disputes, or performance concerns between Dealer Site Builder and IBPI.
• This was a strategic business decision made to support our long-term goals and continue serving dealers as effectively and affordably as possible.
Dealer Site Builder remains fully committed to the office technology industry. For the past 28 years, we have had the privilege of supporting dealers throughout the U.S., Canada, and around the world. Our involvement has included serving as Platinum Sponsors at Itex events in Washington, D.C. and Las Vegas; sponsoring IBPI and BTA conferences in Boston and Orlando; and participating as invited sponsors at nearly 20 Xerox national conferences, as well as numerous events hosted by Toshiba, Sharp, and other manufacturers.
Today, we continue to support hundreds of dealers and remain an active, invested partner in this industry community.
